| I am a sweet older lady and I love attention. I am bonded with my buddy Bumblebee as we have been together for years and are both FIV+ healthy girls. My Foster Hummy (human mommy) calls me Jules. I am initially a bit shy. I need some time to warm up to new people and will most likely hide behind or below big furniture. I will let you pet me whenever I feel safe being partially hidden away. However , once I feel fully safe , I will warm up and start walking more freely around the house and eventually will sit near you on the floor or couch. When I am comfortable I come up to you for pets, which I can do in a very vocal manner or with my paw gently patting you. In general , I will express myself vocally. In the morning when the food bowl is empty, when I am playing with toys or just saying a general "hello" or "good morning". I like to play with little cat toys or chase pieces of string or with my buddy Bumblebee. Since I am a little older , I also like to take plenty of naps on the couch or laying by the window. I don't like to be picked up or be chased around and will hiss when I have had enough of something. Once I trust you I will allow you to pick me up on occasion. All in all , I have had a fairly rough time in the last year and just need to be able to trust and be loved. Once I let you in I love to just sit on the couch with my humans and nap, get pets, butt scratched and kisses. |
