|According to the note left on my carrier, my name is Lilly and I'm about 8 months old. My owners left me in a shopping cart at PetSmart. They left me with my favorite toy and blanket. I'm not sure why they had to give me up but I'm so grateful to have been rescued. It was scary to be abandoned and I need someone who will commit to love me forever. Could it be you?
She does well with her same age foster brothers, though she is a little rougher than they are. She can be so cuddly! But unfortunately her acceptance of petting is limited to her head and shoulders, and only when she wants them. Unwanted touches and she will tell you, usually gently at first, "No touchey" and then more sternly. Her warning signs should not be ignored. She does enjoy laying on her humans and after about 3 weeks she learned to play Chase with the boy kitties in her foster home but still becomes scared or aggressive if they try to wrestle with her. We are calling her Princess Lily because she will only eat fancy feast both wet and dry. She would probably do best in a quiet household with no teens or small children. She does like to play with the laser pointer, with strings and the other cats but a high energy household is probably too much for Lilly who can exhibit some anxiety. She definitely has Tortitude and some of the anxiety that Torties have.
She is still a kitten and she is the most curious of the three her age in my home. Her zoomies are also in a league of their own. And she likes up. She is always looking for ways to get into high places in the house. She LOVES the laser and our ripple rug.
