Quinn's foster mom says she's a unicorn kind of dog! She values her beauty rest and sleeps in her kennel through the night without a peep. She has been easy to train and is great with recall. She is fully house trained. All it takes is a toy with a fresh squeaker and a strong arm to win her love. Seriously, this girl LOVES toys! She is always up for a game of fetch followed by some ear scratches and a nap at your feet. She walks calmly on a leash. She is attentive & will let you know if there’s a threat outside (i.e. those super dangerous deliveries!!!) but in reality she is a lover, not a fighter. She is even great with the kids! She has the most expressive face and thoughtful eyes - her foster family really adores her!

This beautiful girl is happy to meet new people and soaks up attention in the form of head scratches, belly rubs, and - well, actually any kind of attention will do! She seems to enjoy dog friends after a proper introduction and has plenty of playful energy if the right playmate comes along. She does well on a leash and loves her rope toy. She is very treat and food motivated, so she has been easy to direct and train. She is crate trained and house trained and is currently working on improving her other house manners (i.e. snatching snacks & sneaking onto the couch).

While Quinn does very well in her crate, she LOVES to be wherever her humans are. She's also very polite riding in the car! Quinn is currently fostered with children and another dog, We do not recommend Quinn for cats.

She's the perfect mix of mellow snuggle bug and playful companion!

Quinn is 4 years old and 45 lbs.

Quinn’s story: Quinn was found tied to a tree wearing a diaper! Her owner left a note that Quinn had a life-threatening infection of her uterus [polymetra] and asked if someone could drive her to the shelter or find her a new home. She was also dehydrated and very underweight. Without emergency surgery Quinn could die, so we are very grateful our vet partner agreed to do her surgery immediately. The good news is, sweet Quinn is expected to make a full recovery and has shown us she is resilient inside and out.
