20 Lives Saved from a High Euthanasia Shelter in Time for Christmas but More Dogs and Cats Need Help! Your Donation Matched Between NOW and December 31st 11:59pm!

We desperately need to raise $15,000 [only left $10k to go!] to cover the medical costs for 20 dogs and cats that have entered our rescue from the Killeen Animal Shelter this past month alone, which is a shelter that euthanizes for space almost daily. As I send this, one of these dogs is undergoing a critical amputation surgery on her rear leg as two more Killeen Shelter dogs are being driven to Austin foster homes. We were at the shelter Christmas eve and the day after Christmas because they need our help and now we need yours! However, we have a MATCHING DONOR who will match your donation between NOW and New Year's eve at 11:59pm! $5 becomes $10! $100 becomes $200!

Here are two dogs who are asking you to consider helping so we have funds to go back for their friends left behind in Killeen! Tiger Jack and Man Man narrowly escaped from euthanasia the Sunday before Christmas- they literally just met each other for the first time during their freedom ride out of the shelter and here they are together for the first time free to celebrate their new lease on life!

Man Man the little black mix was seized from a neglect case and was born without a back foot, but he doesn't let it slow him down! Tiger Jack's owner said she was coming and then did not return calls to the shelter. He will need ACL surgery on both legs. Both were on the euthanasia list and out of time and we tried to find other rescues to take them but in the end, we were their only hope.
