Imagine 60 dogs living in squalor. Sugar Boo, a black exotic bully, spent his life in a filthy outdoor pen, confined along with 4-5 other dogs. He was bred for profit while his puppies were sold for thousands. The man behind this cruelty also fought pit bulls, while breeding exotic bullies like Sugar Boo—but his arrest brought Sugar Boo’s nightmare to an end. But Sugar Boo and the other dogs still needed rescue once in the hands of animal control, and that's where rescues like ours stepped in.

Today, Sugar Boo is safe with New Hope Animal Rescue, but his journey to healing is just beginning. Despite his past, his gentle and loving spirit remains intact—a testament to his resilience as he learns to navigate indoor life and how to feel less timid around men.

This holiday season, your end of year donation can give more animals like Sugar Boo the second chances they deserve.
