We wanted to highlight some amazing adoption stories to warm your heart this Valentine's Day as we celebrate the unconditional love between adopted pets and their humans!
Discarded Moms Grace and Frankie Find a Home Together! [top left] Grace and Frankie were found abandoned in a box together with their puppies and were taken to a municipal shelter known to have ongoing distemper outbreaks. When we rescued them, no one knew whose puppies were whose, but they co-nursed the puppies together and tag teamed mom duties. Tragically, they would lose all 5 of their puppies to distemper. We knew that after that heartbreak, they deserved to be able to stay together. We are so grateful that their amazing new family stepped up to adopt them BOTH vowing to never separate them.[A memorial tribute to their puppies]

A Senior Cat Who Hates All Cats Falls in Love With a Kitten! [top right] Senior cat Dallas loves people, but when it came to other cats, he was a bit of a curmudgeon, and he made it clear he wanted his own space. So when Dallas's foster introduced him to rambunctious kitten Spud, she was shocked that they became instantly inseparable, even calling out to each other when separated. What was clear to her is that Dallas had a new best fur friend for the first time in his life and the idea of separating them was heartbreaking. So we want to say a big thank you to their new parents for adopting this odd couple so they could continue to enjoy their beautiful friendship.
Kobe [formerly Greta] Update 3 Years Later- She is Totally in Love with Her Human Sister! Kobe was pregnant when she was abandoned at a municipal shelter. Thankfully she was rescued in time to give birth to her puppies in a New Hope foster home. Kobe is now helping raise her new human baby sister!
"Yesterday was our three year anniversary of adopting Kobe and we couldn’t imagine our family without her! Just wanted to update you that she’s happy, healthy, and just the best!" -Kobe's mom
