Today is #GivingTuesdayNow, a new global day of giving created as a response to the coronavirus pandemic to help nonprofits across the globe who are doing more with less funding.  New Hope Animal Rescue took in a higher volume of abandoned cats and dogs the during the Covid-19 crisis, so we are depending on #GivingTuesdayNow to continue our life-saving work.

To all of our supporters, we thank you for what we have been able to do so far. In the month of April alone, we saved over 85 animals, many with medial issues, and more animals are being born in our care as we speak (see Mika's video below).

But countless animals are still in need, so we are working hard to  stay on track to hit our goal of saving 500 lives this year.  With your help, we will not let a global pandemic slow down our rescue efforts.  Especially when this pandemic has displaced countless animals from their homes, while shelters are also forced to operate at a limited capacity. #TogetherWeSaveLives

Whether you donate $5 or $500. Every little bit helps. On behalf of all of our volunteers and rescued pets, we thank you for your continued love and support!  Please stay safe and stay healthy.

Sincerely,
Kelley Rice

Mika was surrendered to us as a pregnant stray and she just gave birth to 5 tiny kittens in a loving foster home on May 4, 2020. It's kitten season and countless kittens are being born right now on the streets and are facing injury, illness and starvation. Thank you to our fosters and donors that are helping us save as many as we can. Please spay and neuter your pets to end needless suffering and contact us if you need to know about low cost spay/neuter services. #TogetherWeSaveLives
Oscar and Bailey were part of an "oopsie litter" and their owners were sending them to a kill shelter in South Texas before we intervened. They are currently being treated for ringworm.
