Meet Victoria. At 15, She Was Surrendered to a High Kill Shelter Where Her Owners Requested Euthanasia for the "Disease of Old Age".
Every animal deserves a loving home, including sweet Victoria who came into the shelter in a neglected state of health and covered in mats. But age is not a disease! She just needed a little TLC. Victoria has plenty of spunk and still has plenty of life and love to give. Victoria's story is common unfortunately. She was at risk of being killed for space at any moment when we rescued her and no pet should spend their final moments of life afraid in a shelter.
Victoria was taken immediately to the groomer to have her mats removed and she walked out of the groomer looking like a much younger dog! Age is just a number and this girl was not ready to leave this earth.
New Hope Animal Rescue believes that all dogs and cats are deserving of loving homes regardless of breed, size, age or health status. Your supporthelps us give hope and give life to so many neglected and abandoned animals like Victoria!
