As a heartworm positive dog, sweet little Roo sat in an overcrowded shelter for 3 months and was at risk of being euthanized despite being incredibly friendly. Sweet, adoptable pets like Roo are over often over looked at shelters for treatable medical conditions that are often the result of neglect.
Rescues like ours rely on donations to be able to save the lives of the most vulnerable pets like Roo so we can provide them with the vet care they need. Thanks to donors, Roo received life-saving heartworm treatment, and he is resting in a loving foster home while his heart recovers.
