Animals are in crisis all around us and can't afford to wait until Giving Tuesday for a lifeline. With hope in our hearts, we are asking you to consider making a year-end gift today to help us save the precious  lives that need our help now.

Just last week, an animal control facility, 90 minutes outside of Austin, seized over 100 cats from an illegal and inhumane breeding operation. These cats were living in horrendous conditions and all had varying degrees of upper respiratory infections and other medical issues.

When the shelter called out to us for help, we sprung into action!  Despite our own funding constraints, we took a leap of faith and saved 27 of these cats including kittens, a nursing mom and a pregnant mom. There are still cats with medical issues from the seizure that remain at this animal control facility and cats and dogs all over Texas that still need our immediate help. Your donation now can be a lifeline to so many pets before the year is over!

Catalie Portman, now safe in our care is a Calico munchkin. While she's adorable, it is not ethical to breed cats to have genetic anomalies such as her unusually short legs which can create health issues and discomfort. It is not ethical to breed period with so many unwanted pets and not enough homes.

Archie is among the 12 kittens we rescued from the seizure case. His mom kept pushing him away while allowing her other kittens to nurse so he was losing weight rapidly. Under the care of a committed medical foster, he wants you to know he is committed to getting stronger and even goes to the office with his foster mom every day! Watch an adorable, uplifting video of sweet Archie here that is sure to melt you heart.
