Their Lives Were in Our Hands—And We Said Yes

A backyard breeder told us bluntly: "If you don’t take them, they’ll die.’

This week, your generosity goes a long way to save animals like Master Splinter and Cleopatra who would have perished without our immediate intervention. Every dollar you give brings hope to pets who have nothing but their will to survive.

Cleopatra and Master Splinter, two fragile Sphynx cats, were living in scorching, filthy outdoor conditions—an environment their breed simply cannot survive in. Without fur to regulate their body temperature and with highly sensitive skin, they were suffering with no hope of survival.

Cleopatra’s situation was even more dire. She was battling pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection. Our vet confirmed that without our intervention, she would not have survived much longer.

Thanks to supporters, we are able to save lives like Cleopatra's and Master Splinter who are now recovered and cherished by their adopter and on the road to a much brighter future

Giving Tuesday may have passed, but for countless homeless dogs and cats, the fight for survival continues every single day. At New Hope Animal Rescue, we’ve taken in pets who urgently need medical care, safety, and a second chance at life like Cleopatra and Master Splinter.

Your gift this week could be the difference between life and death for a vulnerable pet in need. With the holiday season upon us, the number of animals entering shelters increases, and so does the need for your help.

🐾 Here’s how your gift saves lives:

  • $25 vaccinates a pet against deadly diseases.
  • $50 covers nutritious meals and care for a rescued pet.
  • $100 helps fund a spay neuter surgery or other critical care
  • $500 provides heartworm or other life-saving treatments.

You don’t have to give on Giving Tuesday to make a difference. Give today and be the reason a pet finds safety, love, and a forever home.

There are so many more animals like Pinky who need us, and today, you can be their hero. Giving Tuesday is your chance to help save lives.

Together, we can save lives—one paw at a time. Thank you for your compassion and support! And don't forget you are invited to join us to this Saturday December 7th to Boot Scoot into the holiday season with cookies, live music with Jeff Hughes and Chaparral to celebrate and support life saving! To get tickets, visit Austin Christmas Cookie Ball.

Thank you! 🐾❤️
