Support Needed for Cynthia and Frannie's Critical Eye Surgeries

Little Cynthia [left] faced an end-of-day euthanasia deadline at a shelter outside of Austin due to her ruptured eye. Weighing barely a pound, this tiny soul had not been given a chance in life. Yet, her resilient purr motor and endless snuggles signaled a strong will to live and be loved [watch video with sound up!]. Thanks to the compassion of a New Hope foster, Cynthia's life was saved! But the story doesn't stop there.

The same shelter soon notified us about little Frannie who was about to meet the same deadly fate due to her critical eye issue as well. Thankfully, Cynthia's foster promptly took her in too. Both kittens have shown improvement with medication, but they need critical eye enucleation surgeries scheduled for tomorrow, October 27th. We urgently need to raise $750 to cover these essential surgeries and take-home medications. Every donation, regardless of size, brings us closer to our goal and ensures that we have the resources to save more animals from euthanasia lists!

Maxine's Update: From Darkness into Loving Arms, Thanks to You!

You may remember Maxine who came into our rescue blind but she needed eye removal surgery to eliminate pain. Thanks to generous donors like you, 100 % of her surgery costs were covered and she recovered very well!  Maxine was just adopted and joined her new mom at her new home this Saturday!  Her mom will keep Maxine close by her side as she makes quilts for the homeless.  She will take Maxine on many walks where she will describe for Maxine the world around them. It was Maxine's lack of sight and need for extra love that made her adopter fall in love with her.  But in return, we know that Maxine has so much unconditional love and endless snuggles and loyal companionship to offer as well.  If you are looking to adopt a pet, please consider the pets that others might over look, like sweet Maxine, due to special needs. Pets like with unique needs often possess an unparalleled capacity to teach us about resilience, compassion, and the true meaning of unconditional love!

Join us at Petco in Pflugerville for a Cat and Dog Adoption Event this Saturday October 28th!

Looking to add a new furry family member? Or just want to meet some of the pets you have helped impact or learn how to volunteer or foster? Please stop by Petco [19000 Limestone Commercial Dr, Pflugerville] this Saturday to meet some of our adoptable dogs and kitties!  We will be there between 11am - 2pm!

Your kindness can bring light into Cynthia and Frannie's lives, just as it did for Maxine! Please consider donating today to ensure these adorable kittens live pain-free. The spirits of these special pets are unwavering and they will offer their future adopters unconditional love for many years to come, thanks to your support!

Thank you for being a beacon of hope and love for these resilient pets.

With a grateful heart,
