This is Boo Boo's Only Chance

Boo Boo was born with a rare congenital condition: his rectal opening is only 2mm wide — and we need to raise $1,000 to save him.
Boo Boo has had the odds stacked against him from the very beginning. Boo Boo, his siblings, and their mom were all set to be euthanized at a shelter simply because they had ringworm. We were able to save them, but soon after, Boo Boo’s foster noticed something was very wrong.
For most kittens, Boo Boo's diagnosis is a death sentence. They are euthanized because survival seems impossible and treatment is too far out of reach.

But after consulting with specialists at Texas A&M’s Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital, our veterinarian, Dr. Engle at Prestige Animal Wellness, was told something that gave us hope: Boo Boo absolutely deserves a chance.
And we agreed.
As we send this email today, Dr. Engle is performing a second balloon dilation procedure on Boo Boo— an attempt to slowly widen the rectal opening so he can survive. Boo Boo will need at least 3 more procedures every 3-4 days. It’s an aggressive approach — but it's his only chance. And it's a fight worth having.

After the procedure, Dr. Engle called us to say: 'this kitten is otherwise purring, climbing and happy - he deserves a chance.'
Dr. Engle is an exceptional veterinarian performing these procedures at cost for our rescue. But $1,000 is still a major hit for us. We stretch every dollar to make the biggest impact possible. We don’t turn away dogs who need heartworm treatment or euthanize cats with FIP. We give every pet in our care a fighting chance — but with donations down and so many animals depending on us, our resources are drained.
That’s why we need your help now. Every gift, even $10, helps us keep saying yes when others would say no — for Boo Boo, and for every animal still waiting for hope.
With gratitude for every life you help us save,
