Catthew Needs Time for Ongoing Recovery
Now sweet Catthew needs that same gift of TIME! Catthew was rushed to the emergency room just last week when he appeared to be struggling to breath with neurological abnormalities and seizure activity. We are in dire need of donations to pay off his $4,000 ER bill and still have ongoing medical bills to provide his ongoing care in his foster home.

Bloodwork and his symptoms led the ER doctors to diagnose Catthew with the elusive dry neurological form of FIP, a condition that can linger in a cat a long time before presenting with neurological symptoms.
We could have euthanized Catthew, but we chose life knowing he had a 90% chance of survival with twice daily GS treatment. The ER vets and techs were breathing a sigh of relief and thanking us when a New Hope rep arrived to the ER hospital to start administering GS injections instead of ordering his euthanasia on such a sweet cat they had all grown attached to! And we, alongside this amazing medical team, made the right decision - Catthew is IMPROVING! But we are desperate for help paying his bill - even $5, the price of a cup of coffee, makes a difference!

[Veterinarians are not allowed to administer GS due to patent disputes delaying it's FDA approval despite GS being a completely safe and proven life-saving medication to treat deadly FIP in cats! It is legal for vets to administer in places like the UK and the USA is falling behind! For more information about FIP, please visit our FIP resource library].
