Amplify Our Mission To Save Lives

Amplify Austin Continues Today Until 6:00pm

DONATE

Amplify Austin's 24 hours of giving continues until 6:00pm tonight!  Amplify Austin is about community collaboration and giving, so we want to take this opportunity to highlight a few of our special rescued pets that need help finding forever homes. Forwarding to this email to potential adopters or sharing our stories over social media are FREE ways to support our rescue efforts! And don't forget, an anonymous funder has offered a $25,000 matching grant to be distributed to all Animal Care & Service organizations like ours so it's not too late to donate and double your impact!

Our "Golden Girls" Stella, Winnie and Rosie's lives were uprooted when they were surrendered to a shelter after their mom died. The shelter is no place for senior pups, so we raced to get them out. Thanks to donors, they have all had very expensive dental procedures but are now ready for their forever homes. We invite you to read more about Stella Winnie and Rosie who can be adopted separately [they are not bonded or dependent on one another].

Alfie was at risk of being killed at a rural shelter because he was there for several months. This sweet boy did not deserve to lose his life over taking up kennel space. Alfie is 7 years young and is agile, energetic and loves to give gentle hugs. Sadly, he has been with our rescue since November and is desperate for a forever home.  Read Alfie's story here:

Charles and Wesley sat at a rural shelter for over 5 months putting them at risk of being killed for space. This gentle, bonded pair are as sweet as can be despite their former life of being neglected. These loving couch potatoes are great with humans, dogs and cats [see cat video].  To read more about them, click here.

Sweet Brody is a 13 year old Maltese/ShihTzu mix and was shelter bound before we intervened. He is new to our rescue and still needs a foster. Tragically, his owner died and family members he went to live with kept him isolated in a room for a year without even a dog bed, only checking on him to feed and bathe him. Despite this neglect, he is still a very sweet boy who loves lap cuddles. Read Brody's story here

Your support through sharing our rescued pet's stories over email or through social media are vital to our life-saving efforts to reach our 2020 goal to save 500 cats and dogs from euthanasia.  And every dollar donated helps continue medical treatments and care for neglected and abandoned animals.

Here are ways you can give:

  • Donate through Amplify Austin [Preferred for Matching Gift Opportunities.  In addition to the matching grant funds, Tito's will add $5 to your gift if you #LoveTitos at checkout]
  • Make a one time donation through our PayPal giving fund.  100% of your donation goes to our mission without transaction fees.
  • Set a recurring, monthly donation through PayPal [cancel any time]
  • Follow us on social media and share our stories or reach out to us to learn about fostering.  We do not operate a shelter, so foster homes are the backbone of our rescue.
