Description:
We aren’t sure how Alfie ended up in the shelter or why he sat there for two months unclaimed. We rescued him because this sweet dog did not deserve his fate. He is a mature dog and very house trained (foster mom says he can hold it for hours :)) and knows sit, shake and gives the most gentle hugs. He insists on riding shotgun in the car. He’s very sweet with the other dogs in his foster home and is currently being bossed around by a small chiweenie. He doesn’t want any drama.
Alfie loves people and seems like the kind that gets very attached. He is crate trained and walks well on a leash and enjoys going for jogs with his foster mom. He's currently in a home with many cats and everyone gets along well.
This boy has a lot of love to give and tested Heartworm negative. He's got some seasonal allergies which he is being treated for but otherwise in great health!
