✨ Meet Sparkles ✨ Sparkles lives up to her name i ✨ Meet Sparkles ✨

Sparkles lives up to her name in every way. This 65-lb sweetheart is friendly with everyone she meets — people, dogs, even cats (despite being a little intimidated by them). She’s gentle, submissive, and has never shown aggression of any kind.

She’s fully potty trained, crate trained, and incredibly affectionate. Sparkles truly believes she’s a lap dog and wants to be wherever her people are. If you’re looking for a loyal shadow who loves kisses and cuddles, she’s your girl.

She has high energy and a big zest for life, so an active home or one with a yard would be ideal. Sparkles is strong and enthusiastic, and she’ll thrive with daily exercise, enrichment, and structure.

Before rescue, Sparkles’ world was very small — likely limited to a backyard. Since coming to New Hope, she’s discovered what life is supposed to be: sleeping in bed, lounging on couches, visiting patios, meeting new people, and being part of a family. Her personality is a 10/10, and she’s right on the edge of becoming an absolutely perfect companion.

✨ Sparkles isn’t a background dog — she’s a best friend.
Ready to add some sparkle to your life?
Daisy is a sweet, playful French Bulldog with a bi Daisy is a sweet, playful French Bulldog with a big personality. At 5 years and 22 lbs, her energy levels are pretty average but she'll pepper her energy throughout the day with random spurts of playfulness between long and hard snoozes with the rest of the dogs.

Speaking of dogs, she's obsessed with her foster brother Roo who is another Frenchie. He tolerates her snuggling up with him at nap time and we have not had the heart to tell her the love is unrequited. When the female dogs approach Roo she’ll issue a quick “hey, back off” snarl so they know to keep away from her man.

Daisy is much more sweet than she is studious which is very on-brand for a bulldog. She has a stubborn streak and may sometimes plant her feet mid-walk if she disagrees with your chosen route, making a home with a secure yard a great fit for her. She doesn’t appear to know formal commands yet and will benefit from consistent guidance and routine.

If you’re looking for a loving, funny, slightly opinionated companion who will keep you laughing and cuddle like it’s her full-time job, Daisy might be your girl!

🐾 Meet Lyle & Hefner — Double the Love, Double the 🐾 Meet Lyle & Hefner — Double the Love, Double the Snuggles 🐾

If you’re looking for affectionate, people-loving kittens who believe lap time is a full-time job, Lyle and Hefner might just be your perfect match.

These two boys are incredibly sweet, social, and cuddly. They adore human attention, melt into snuggles, and are happiest when they’re close to their people. Whether they’re curled up together or climbing into your arms, they bring a whole lot of love wherever they go.

Lyle and Hefner were exposed to FeLV as young kittens through their littermates, but their immune systems stepped up in a big way. They are currently healthy, thriving, and not showing any signs of illness. They have tested negative on multiple FeLV SNAP tests including after 6 months of age, but positive on a more sensitive PCR test, which is consistent with what veterinarians call regressive FeLV.

What does that mean?
Their bodies are effectively controlling the virus. They are not actively shedding, and many cats with regressive FeLV live long, happy lives — some never developing FeLV-related illness at all.

Because of this, Lyle and Hefner should be adopted into a home without other cats. They are closely bonded and would absolutely love to be adopted together, though we are open to individual placements in the right home.

What matters most is that they find a loving, committed family who will cherish them for the wonderful, affectionate cats they are — not just a diagnosis on paper.

💛 If you’re ready for double the snuggles and a whole lot of love, Lyle and Hefner are ready to meet you. Application in comments!

This week, we rushed a kitten named Tabitha Twinkle to the vet after her foster woke up to find that both of her eyes had suddenly become cloudy and one had begun to bulge.

Her initial ophthalmology exam and diagnostic bloodwork alone cost $445, and we are still waiting on results to understand what caused this sudden change and what treatment she will need next.

Your support helps us provide emergency diagnostics and ongoing care for pets like Tabitha Twinkle and many others who arrive needing more than routine care.

Medical needs don’t end at midnight tonight but a gift now helps ensure we can keep helping pets like Tabitha!

This weekend alone, our rescue team said yes to 18 cats and dogs who urgently needed help. Two of them were Gumdrop (left) and Cuddlewisp (right).

These sweet cats came from a cruelty case where they were seized from severe overcrowded confinement and neglect. Both were suffering from upper respiratory infections, and Gumdrop’s condition is especially painful — she appears to be missing most of her teeth, with severely worn canine teeth embedded in inflamed gums. Without treatment, she faces chronic pain and ongoing infection.

She will need a full dental procedure so she can finally eat comfortably and live pain-free.

One of the tiniest lives saved last week… and already bossing his foster mom around. ❤️

Kittens this small often fade and pass away in shelters because they simply don’t have the staff or resources to provide the care these babies need.
Fosters make little miracles like this happen.
Our tiniest life saved last week
Gracie and Maudie were rescued from a heartbreaking cruelty case—just 7 months old and already suffering the effects of severe confinement. Four puppies were crammed into a tiny wire crate, unable to move freely. As a result, Grace & Maudie's back legs are weak and wobbly from muscle atrophy, but don’t let that fool you—these girls can walk, play, and even jump on the couch!

Maudie, the smallest, and was being crushed under the other puppies when animal control arrived. Her fur is missing on her head from pressing against the kennel. She has never stopped wagging her tail. They were at risk of being euthanized at a shelter that couldn’t place them for adoption.

Until New Hope Animal Rescue said yes to rescuing them.

This video follows their journey—from neglect and fear to baths, freedom, and finally, love. You’ll see Maudie walk straight into her foster mom’s arms, Gracie soaking up attention, and both sisters discovering the joy of toys and soft places to rest.

💛 These girls are healing every day—and with your help, we can continue giving dogs like them the second chance they deserve.
