| JoJo's owners never came for him at the shelter. They left him there covered in mats and fecal matter and he was terrified. We would learn just how neglected was after his first vet visit. He did not want to be touched because he was in pain, but he is now a loving pup! After having his matted fur shaved, getting some rotten teeth pulled, treating his ear infection and putting him on some pain meds for arthritis, JoJo (aka Wolfie) is feeling great! His true personality is now shining as a sweet boy who now doesn't mind being held and touched. It just goes to show how much pain can dictate a pet's behavior. He is great meeting new people and his foster describes him as chill and lovely. He has some resource guarding, but it appears to be with dogs who are twice his size. His hope for a better future is now restored.
