Boy-Scout and his siblings were scheduled to be euthanized at a high kill shelter in the Rio Grande Valley. They came to our rescue exhausted, covered in ticks but very grateful for love and affection. Boy-Scout is the first to explore new environments, is curious, wiggly, happy and open to new experiences. He is very food motivated and is still learning to play with both humans and other dogs. He has been fostered with dogs of all sizes and cats, but needs to be introduced properly and have the support of his human.

Once he’s done exploring and playing or chewing on dog toys (or whatever he deems to be a toy, like your shoes), he’s happy to curl up on a soft bed and dream of happy places. If you allow him to, he will sit or curl up and sleep on your lap for as long as you let him. Loves to snuggle with his human in order to feel safe and secure.
