Chakita may be tiny, a small 8 pounds, but she is full of love and personality! You can tell she knows she is adorable because she has a little prance when she walks. And don't get us started on her adorable, long, goofy neck that adds to her charm. She has already overcome so much in her little life and has so much love to give. She absolutely adores snuggling and sitting in her humans lap and she warms up quickly to new people. If you’re looking for a new best friend, she is your girl. When she gets excited she spins around in circles. She does this when she sees her breakfast (a girl loves to eat) or when her human comes home (even if you just step outside for a few minutes). She is great on a leash and can walk for miles, with reassurance she does not bark at other dogs. Although she has tons of energy for outings and car rides, she is also totally happy to snuggle on the couch and sit in your lap or receive belly rubs. She’s been in a foster home with children, dogs of all sizes and with cats but would also be fine in a home as the only animal. She learned to “sit” very quickly and is learning “stay”. She also responds well to “no”. She is a fast learner because she’s very food motivated!
