What can I say? I am a big loveable guy and an even bigger sweetheart. I lived a hard life on the streets but now I am living the good life and have lots of friends. My two best friends are Yen & Yang and we love hanging out together. I would love to be adopted into a home with other friends. We routinely house our FIV+ cats with FIV negative cats. Most cats with FIV live a normal life in spite of the virus, and can live well with other cats as long as there is no aggressive fighting. Cats living indoors in a stable social structure have little chance of passing the disease to other household cats. Transmission occurs most commonly through deep bite wounds. It cannot be spread by normal grooming, playing, food & water, or the litterbox. FIV is not contagious to humans, or dogs, or non-feline animals. |
