Introducing Miles, the lovable, gentle soul who’s on a journey to find his forever family!

Miles's story began with a bit of a rough start with a stint in an over crowded municipal shelter through no fault of his own. No human came to claim him but his gentle nature caught the attention of our visiting volunteers who couldn’t leave without him. As they suspected from their initial shelter encounter, Miles has indeed proven to be a resilient and affectionate companion.

Miles's heart is as big as his enthusiasm for life. He's currently fostered alongside a 3-year-old female lab mix, and their friendship is proof of his wonderful temperament. Beyond his foster sibling, Miles has met several dogs during outings and has charmed his way into their good graces each time.

And every one he meets remarks on how incredibly handsome he is! But Miles just wants them to notice his inner beauty. He has a very endearing longing for love and acceptance, and he's quick to charm everyone he meets with his sweet nature. While he's undoubtedly handsome, his heart is even more captivating.

While he may not have had much experience with leashes and harnesses in his past, Miles is quickly getting the hang of them. His walks are becoming more enjoyable as he grows comfortable with these accessories. Miles is also crate trained and basic commands are also on Miles's learning agenda. Treats can sometimes motivate him, but his true love language is affection.

Miles's boundless enthusiasm is both his strength and his weakness. His excitement can sometimes lead to an exuberant tail wag that has been known to cause minor household chaos. He's diligently working on curbing his jumping tendencies, and he's made remarkable progress.

In moments when he feels he's missing out on something exciting, Miles might let out a whimper from his crate, though he's not known to be excessively vocal.

Described as a medium to high-energy pup, Miles is ready for an active life with a loving family. He's gradually acclimating to city living and is eager to explore new adventures, once he overcomes his fear of car rides.

Miles radiates love and an undeniable desire to be cherished by both humans and other animals. Miles will make a great family pet. Don’t miss the chance to welcome this lovable goofball into your heart and home. *Miles is not fostered with cats but we are happy to arrange a "cat test".
