Sweet little Akiko came from a shelter where she had to be rescued only because of a nasty skin infection she had all over her back legs.
She received treatment for her skin and healed up very well is now looking for her forever home.
She’s a little shy but she loves to have little friends to play with, she’s especially fond of kittens and young females who match her energy. She tolerates dogs well but doesn’t like to interact with them.
She’s still a little fearful of people but she is highly food motivated and knows the sound of can opening and comes running. She chirps and meows following you to her dish every time and will let you pet her while she eats.
She loves to be comfy on the couch near you but not too close. Over time she will gain trust she just needs someone who can be patient with her. She also loves to play with toys and do zoomies through the house but over all she’s a pretty chill gal who just wants a tasty meal and warm bed.
