New Hope Animal Rescue, NFP is an accredited 501c3, focused on Animal Rescue Through Fostering and Adoption
We are a fully accredited 501c3 nonprofit organization, created to help save the lives of dogs and cats who are at risk of euthanasia. We save the discarded, the lost and the unwanted and we can't do it without your help!
We are not a shelter. All of our rescues are cared for by fosters and volunteers. We provide them with the medical care they need so they can find their forever homes.

Jeffery’s story didn’t start easy. When we first heard about him, he was living behind a trash can at an apartment complex—being kicked around and mistreated by kids near the dog park. He deserved so much more than that life.So New Hope stepped in.![]()

And look at him now. The moment his adopter met him at PetSmart in Bee Cave, it was love at first sight. ![]()

Now Jeffery is heading into a life filled with kindness, comfort, and companionship. He’ll have a friendly dog sibling and two kitty friends, and he’ll never have to wonder if he’s safe again.![]()

Vi is the kind of dog who just fits into your life. She loves car rides (especially when they end in Pup Cups 🍦), enjoys her walks, and at a 4 years old, she is out of her puppy phase and is just as happy curling up in a cozy spot to relax near her people. ![]()

She’s great with cats and has done well with other dogs in her foster home, but these days she’d be perfectly happy to be an only dog too. ![]()

If you’re looking for a walking buddy, Vi would do best in a lower-traffic neighborhood or on quieter paths where she can enjoy her strolls without a ton of stimuli - she does great but sometimes will get excited by passing wheels or a dog (not always) but is easily redirected with a treat. At her wellness visit today, when another dog got in her space, Vi chose to quietly remove herself and settle under a chair—she’s a sensitive girl and isn't looking for any trouble. ![]()

One year ago today, Vi came back to our rescue through no fault of her own when her adopter went through a difficult time. Since then, she’s been patiently waiting for a true forever home. ![]()

✨ Vi just finished her annual wellness exam and all vaccines were updated today along with her annual heartworm test. For interested adopters, her heartworm prevention is now covered for a full year - - she received ProHeart 12.
