Description:

Poppy is the definition of tiny but mighty โ€” with a splash of flair for the dramatic.

Born on 10/30/25, Poppy is the biggest girl in Honeyโ€™s litter (currently around 3โ€“4 pounds) and she knows it. She loves her food, lives for attention, and has fully embraced her role as the most expressive voice in the room. If something is new โ€” baths, nail trims, sanitary shaves โ€” Poppy will absolutely let you know how she feels about it. Loudly. With passion. And maybe a little flair. ๐Ÿ˜Œ

That said, she is getting braver every day. With reassurance and patience, sheโ€™s learning that new things arenโ€™t so scaryโ€ฆ even if she still prefers to announce her feelings first.

Poppy has a soft, curly coat like her mama and appears to be a small terrier / poodleโ€“type mix โ€” often lovingly called โ€œterrier-pooโ€ or โ€œdoodle-ish.โ€ Whatever the mix, the result is very cute with a big personality to match.

For her safety, due to her small size, Poppy is best suited for a home with children 8 years and older, and we will not adopt her to a home with dog doors.

Sheโ€™s being raised in foster care and receiving age-appropriate vetting. As with any puppy, Poppy will need continued socialization, patience, and training as she grows into a confident adult dog.

If youโ€™re looking for a small companion with a big personality โ€” one who loves attention, keeps life entertaining, and isnโ€™t afraid to speak her mind โ€” Poppy might just be your perfect match
