Meet Goose — Trouble with a Capital T (Because He' Meet Goose — Trouble with a Capital T (Because He's Impossible Resist Adopting)!

This face? Trouble. With a capital T — because there’s just no way not to fall in love with Goose when you meet him. 💙

Goose is a one-year-old, 32-pound Bulldog mix who’s sweet, affectionate, and totally devoted to his humans. He’s the ultimate shadow dog — happiest following you from room to room or resting his head on your shoulder during car rides.

He’s great with other dogs, mostly house trained, and did beautifully in a crate in one foster home (though he’s been a bit more vocal in another — we think he just prefers having dogs or people around). Goose doesn’t love being alone, but he absolutely loves being loved.

He gives the best hugs and kisses, though his enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of him — those strong jaws and sharp eeth can turn kisses into little nibbles! For that reason, we recommend a home with adults or kids 12 and up.

Goose is a dream on leash, calm and easy to walk, and has a medium energy level that adjusts to your pace. He’s affectionate, loyal, and will absolutely steal your heart — consider yourself warned.

Hammy (now Albie) Has Been Adopted! This adorable Hammy (now Albie) Has Been Adopted!
This adorable Shih Tzu puppy came to us matted, soiled, and suffering from a neglected eye condition that had caused his eyelid to start healing into his eyeball.

Despite everything he’d been through, Hammy never slowed down — always wagging, always smiling, always ready to make people laugh.

Now he’s living his best life as Albie, in a home where he’s truly cherished — complete with a doodle sister and a kitty friend to play with.

And get this: within hours of going home, his new family reports that he’s already mastered the communication buttons on his puzzle board to tell his family when he wants to go outside!

WHAT?! 🤯 We’re in shock too; was he listening to our conversations this whole time?
Adopted from PetSmart Balcones! These two sweet k Adopted from PetSmart Balcones!

These two sweet kittens are the last babies of Momma Harlow — the East Texas cat who gave birth in foster care after being rescued from a heartbreaking hoarding situation.

Now every one of Harlow's babies, and Momma Harlow herself, have been adopted! 💕

From struggle to safety, this little family’s story has come full circle.

Meet Richard Theodore Cheese — Tiny Dog, Enormous Meet Richard Theodore Cheese — Tiny Dog, Enormous Personality!

Meet Richard, a 4-pound Chihuahua with a big personality and an even bigger heart. At just 3 years old, this little guy is full of joy, curiosity, and cuddles. Richard loves going for walks, soaking up the sunshine, and snuggling up with his people — or with his furry foster siblings, including the big dogs! He’s playful, affectionate, and guaranteed to brighten your day.

Richard is doing great with crate and potty training and sleeps quietly through the night. Like most Chihuahuas, he has a voice, but he’s learning quickly that quiet earns him more love and attention — and he listens beautifully to gentle correction.

He doesn’t mind modeling outfits, which will help keep him warm this winter. You might catch him curled up in his “Security” sweatshirt — or serving up his best puppy-dog looks in his orange-and-cream jailhouse hoodie. His only crime? Stealing hearts.

Because of his size, Richard would do great in an apartment or condo committed to safe leash walks, or in a home with a very secure, fenced-in yard. However, due to his tiny stature, we cannot adopt him to a home with a dog door or children under 10, for safety reasons. Thank you for understanding and helping us keep this little guy safe. 💛

Richard is the perfect mix of playful energy and lapdog sweetness — a pint-sized companion ready to bring laughter, warmth, and love to his forever family.

Rooney’s Ready to Meet You! Our little “land dol Rooney’s Ready to Meet You!

Our little “land dolphin” — nicknamed for the joyful way he leaps through the yard — has completed his heartworm treatment and is feeling fantastic!

At7 years old (32 lbs), Rooney the French Bulldog is a snorty, smiley, celery-loving gentleman who just wants to be part of the fun. He’s house-trained, affectionate, and full of joyful bursts of play followed by perfectly timed naps.

Rooney is looking for an adopter who’s up for both his fun nature and managing a few ongoing vet needs. He takes daily prescription eye drops for chronic dry eye and gets routine allergy shots that keep his skin comfy — both of which he handles like a champ (especially with snacks involved).

He’s great with other dogs, but his curiosity would absolutely torment any cat or tortoise in sight.

If you’re ready for love, laughter, and daily entertainment from one of the world’s most expressive Frenchies, Rooney’s your guy!

As we got to know Cowboy, we discovered that, like many bulldogs, his needs were quite specific. Behind his goofy exterior, Cowboy revealed that he would thrive in a calm, low-traffic home with someone who could provide a predictable routine, while also understanding and gently guiding his sensitive nature.

When his adopter applied, something just clicked. Their first meeting was easy, natural, and full of mutual affection. We knew in that moment that Cowboy had found his person.

On Sunday, Cowboy was officially adopted. Congratulations to Cowboy and his incredible new dad! Their paths crossed at exactly the right time, and it feels like they were simply destined to be together.

Cowboy’s story reminds us that rescue is about more than finding homes — it’s about understanding what each pet and adopter truly need to thrive together.

YouTube Video VVVIQ1dWXzdEa0p4QmxjVVF0c3JjcDNBLlNZbWFtdG1uQVBr Gracie and Maudie were rescued from a heartbreaking cruelty case—just 7 months old and already suffering the effects of severe confinement. Four puppies were crammed into a tiny wire crate, unable to move freely. As a result, Grace & Maudie's back legs are weak and wobbly from muscle atrophy, but don’t let that fool you—these girls can walk, play, and even jump on the couch!

Maudie, the smallest, and was being crushed under the other puppies when animal control arrived. Her fur is missing on her head from pressing against the kennel. She has never stopped wagging her tail. They were at risk of being euthanized at a shelter that couldn’t place them for adoption.

Until New Hope Animal Rescue said yes to rescuing them.

This video follows their journey—from neglect and fear to baths, freedom, and finally, love. You’ll see Maudie walk straight into her foster mom’s arms, Gracie soaking up attention, and both sisters discovering the joy of toys and soft places to rest.

💛 These girls are healing every day—and with your help, we can continue giving dogs like them the second chance they deserve.
