      Meet Champ! Champ is a tiny 7-pound bundle of lo Meet Champ! Champ is a tiny 7-pound bundle of love with a big heart and an even bigger personality. The shelter originally estimated him to be around 10 years old, but Champ clearly didnโ€™t get that memo โ€” based on his energy, behavior, and overall health, we estimate heโ€™s likely closer to 5โ€“7 years old. The first thing youโ€™ll notice about Champ is his adorable signature underbite, which gives him the sweetest little expression and makes it almost impossible not to fall in love the moment you meet him. Champ is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people. He happily soaks up cuddles and attention and seems to believe the best place in the world is right next to you. Despite his small size, Champ is also wonderfully social with other dogs. In his foster home he gets along beautifully with everyone โ€” even big pit bulls โ€” and enjoys toys and occasionally starting a little play session with his dog friends. Champ is also an excellent houseguest. He is about 99% housetrained, sleeps quietly in his crate all night without a peep, and has been an easy, well-mannered little gentleman in his foster home. He also loves car rides, making him the perfect little companion for errands and adventures. At just 7 pounds, Champ is the perfect little sidekick to take everywhere โ€” from coffee runs to road trips to cozy nights on the couch.       Sparkle kept getting over looked for months despit Sparkle kept getting over looked for months despite being the sweetest girl! Her adopter didnโ€™t see she was in Texas when she filled out the adoption application from 12 hours away in another state. But even once she realized this, she knew Sparkle was meant to be her dog and we agreed! The best homes are worth waiting for. Sparkle made the 12 hour drive to her new home just today but we are already getting updates of her zooming around her new, huge yard with her new fur brother! Some people donโ€™t want to go far to meet a new dog. But Sparkleโ€™s new mom drove 24 hours round trip to bring her new, fur baby home! We are so grateful for her love and commitment to Sparkle!

Goldfinch, Sunwake, Firepoppy, and their brother Sausage were rescued off the streets during the height of kitten season by a compassionate Good Samaritan who refused to look the other way. She brought them to safety and took the responsible step of ensuring they were fully vetted and spayed/neutered before rehoming or reaching out to rescuesโ€”protecting their futures and ensuring they would never contribute to the cycle of unwanted litters.       One of the tiniest lives saved last weekโ€ฆ and already bossing his foster mom around. โค๏ธ Kittens this small often fade and pass away in shelters because they simply donโ€™t have the staff or resources to provide the care these babies need. Fosters make little miracles like this happen.
      Our tiniest life saved last week
      Gracie and Maudie were rescued from a heartbreaking cruelty caseโ€”just 7 months old and already suffering the effects of severe confinement. Four puppies were crammed into a tiny wire crate, unable to move freely. As a result, Grace & Maudie's back legs are weak and wobbly from muscle atrophy, but donโ€™t let that fool youโ€”these girls can walk, play, and even jump on the couch! Maudie, the smallest, and was being crushed under the other puppies when animal control arrived. Her fur is missing on her head from pressing against the kennel. She has never stopped wagging her tail. They were at risk of being euthanized at a shelter that couldnโ€™t place them for adoption. Until New Hope Animal Rescue said yes to rescuing them. This video follows their journeyโ€”from neglect and fear to baths, freedom, and finally, love.
