Meet Margo “Junkyard” Jelly Bean 🖤 A compact 40-l Meet Margo “Junkyard” Jelly Bean 🖤

A compact 40-lb English Bulldog mix with the confidence and spirit of a 150-lb junkyard dog.

Around a 1-2 years old, Margo is packed with personality and affection. She loves walks, lives for pets and belly rubs, gives enthusiastic kisses, and proudly offers high-fives. Once she bonds with you, she bonds hard—this girl adores her people.

Margo is house-trained, crate-trained (though she’d much rather sleep in bed), walks nicely on leash, and is a pro at pottying on command. She enjoys her English Bulldog foster sibling but has a little too much “junkyard energy” for small dogs or cats, so she’d thrive as a solo pup or in a home with larger dogs.

Adopters who are patient and consistent will see her truly blossom. She may bark a bit when you leave—mostly because she wants to be your copilot and go everywhere with you.
✨ Bonus: Margo has already had nares and soft palate surgery, so she’s breathing comfortably. Her adoption fee also includes spay, vaccinations, microchip, and heartworm testing.
If you’re looking for a loyal, hilarious, big-hearted bulldog who will give you her whole soul— Margo “Junkyard” Jelly Bean is your girl!

Please don’t give up hope on a missing pet — and p Please don’t give up hope on a missing pet — and please microchip and keep that information up to date.

Imagine your cat has been missing for 10 months.
You search. You post. You wait.
And eventually, your heart breaks as you begin to give up hope, imagining all the awful possibilities of what may have happened.

Then one day, the phone rings.
“We found your cat.”

That moment happened today because Daisy was microchipped with current information, including an emergency backup contact.

Daisy had been missing since April 2025. We located her 7 miles from home, living at a bus stop about a mile from Austin Animal Center. An unhoused man in the area had been looking out for her and helping keep her safe. She never left his side, and it was clear she had relied on humans for care. With his blessing, we intervened immediately, ensuring she was brought to a safe indoor space while scanned her and then researched her microchip.

Finding a cat 7 miles from their home suggests that something outside of Daisy's control occurred. Most cats typically stay within a small radius of where they live.

And it’s important to say this plainly: in rescue work, we have seen cats intentionally relocated by people who knew they were owned. Sometimes it’s framed as “helping,” sometimes as inconvenience, and sometimes for reasons we’ll never understand. Regardless of intent, the outcome is the same, a family searching and a pet displaced. This is just one of this many reasons why we urge families to keep cats indoors whenever possible and to check microchip information regularly.

Because Daisy was microchipped we were able to reunite her with her family quickly and without question.

A huge thank-you to our volunteer who immediately went to check on Daisy, got her into a safe indoor space, and stayed with her while we tracked down her people.

𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐤 — 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞-𝐨𝐫-𝐃𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐲! Han 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐇𝐚𝐧𝐤 — 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐝𝐞-𝐨𝐫-𝐃𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐁𝐮𝐝𝐝𝐲!

Hank may have been abandoned at an apartment complex when his family moved, but you’d never know it. He’s all heart, loves his people, and truly believes every human is a friend he just hasn’t met yet.

Hank is house trained and crate trained, happily eating and sleeping in his crate — though if he thinks you’re leaving without him, he might need a little kibble encouragement because he wants to go with you!

Walks, car rides, and being included in whatever you’re doing are his favorite things. He’s friendly with other dogs, does well with cats (mostly ignores them), and is social and well-intentioned, though his enthusiasm can sometimes outpace other dogs.

On leash, he walks ahead without pulling, knows commands like sit, lay down, stay, “back,” and staying out of the kitchen, and is motivated by treats, toys, and affection.
Hank has a high energy level, isn’t an apartment dog, and will do best in a home with a yard, and ideally other friendly, playful dogs. Because of his energy, we recommend kids 7 and over.

If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving dog who wants to be part of everything, Hank is ready to ride shotgun into his forever home.

💕 MEANT. TO. BE. TOGETHER. 💕 Stormy was adopted on 💕 MEANT. TO. BE. TOGETHER. 💕
Stormy was adopted once and returned through no fault of his own when his adopter realized she wasn’t quite ready for the commitment of having a pet. And honestly? It turned out to be fate.

When Stormy was placed in foster care with Ruby, something magical happened. He fell madly in love with her — and now he won’t leave her side. Wherever Ruby goes, Stormy follows. Playtime, nap time, snack time… they do it all together. 🐾💕

Ruby is a 6-month-old tabby with a big personality in a tiny body — playful, curious, a little sassy, and completely charming. Stormy is the ultimate good boy — sweet, friendly, great with kids, and full of love for everyone he meets (especially Ruby).

These two balance each other perfectly and are truly happiest together. They’re fully vetted, thriving in foster care, and ready to find a forever home that will love them as the bonded pair they chose to be.

Sometimes the right family doesn’t find you right away, but when it does, it’s worth the wait. Could that family be you?
🐱🐱 Please consider adopting Ruby & Stormy together; they are truly meant to stay together.

We had so many applications for black scruffy pups We had so many applications for black scruffy pups Harry and Dobby and they are adopted. What about sweet Shaggy? He's a young dog and is super loyal to his person. He has an endearing quirk where he will act protective of the house when he meets a new visitor and then cry broken hearted by the time they leave. Shaggy is a 1-year-old, neutered, small wire-haired terrier mix [9lbs] with a big personality and an even bigger heart. True to his name, this scruffy little guy is full of charm and ready to be your best sidekick in life.

One of the tiniest lives saved last week… and already bossing his foster mom around. ❤️

Kittens this small often fade and pass away in shelters because they simply don’t have the staff or resources to provide the care these babies need.
Fosters make little miracles like this happen.
Our tiniest life saved last week
Gracie and Maudie were rescued from a heartbreaking cruelty case—just 7 months old and already suffering the effects of severe confinement. Four puppies were crammed into a tiny wire crate, unable to move freely. As a result, Grace & Maudie's back legs are weak and wobbly from muscle atrophy, but don’t let that fool you—these girls can walk, play, and even jump on the couch!

Maudie, the smallest, and was being crushed under the other puppies when animal control arrived. Her fur is missing on her head from pressing against the kennel. She has never stopped wagging her tail. They were at risk of being euthanized at a shelter that couldn’t place them for adoption.

Until New Hope Animal Rescue said yes to rescuing them.

This video follows their journey—from neglect and fear to baths, freedom, and finally, love. You’ll see Maudie walk straight into her foster mom’s arms, Gracie soaking up attention, and both sisters discovering the joy of toys and soft places to rest.

💛 These girls are healing every day—and with your help, we can continue giving dogs like them the second chance they deserve.
