Dottie will be your instant best friend! Sadly, her owner passed away while he was traveling, leaving her stranded at a boarding facility. We are grateful the facility reach out to New Hope to help her. Dottie is 12 years young and is still spunky and spry. While she’s pretty happy relaxing around the house, she loves going for walks and is great on a leash and really enjoys car rides. She knows sit and understands “want to go for a walk”. On top of being a very sweet, lap dog she also enjoys down time in her crate. She’s overall a very sweet and trusting pup who has lots of love to give. She seems to do fine with other dogs. She is curious about cats and will chase, but it’s possible this was just some initial excitement that would improve our time.
