Description:
Kip is a 1½-year-old, 35–38-pound brindle boy who is equal parts playful adventurer and affectionate cuddle buddy. He has completed his heartworm treatment and is finally ready to begin searching for the forever family he deserves!
Kip loves walks, exploring trails, playing with toys, and spending time with his people. He can toss his toys around and happily entertain himself, but his favorite thing may be looking up at you with that sweet face and asking for love.
He is good with other dogs and does a wonderful job adjusting his play style to match his friends. He plays hard with energetic dogs who enjoy rough-and-tumble fun, but he knows how to tone it down with calmer dogs. After playtime, he is just as happy curling up and sleeping beside his canine buddies. Kip would likely enjoy having a playful dog friend in his new home, although regular opportunities to socialize with dog friends may be enough.
Kip can go from high-energy play to relaxing calmly in the house, and he loves to cuddle. He is crate trained and generally does well on leash, although he can become excited and would benefit from continued leash practice. Like many young dogs, he may occasionally bark or chew something he should not—especially if another dog gets the mischief started—but this is not a frequent issue.
Kip is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. He needs a cat-free home.
This affectionate, adventurous boy has so much love and personality to share. Some lucky family is going to be very happy they chose Kip!
