Welcome sweet Lucy to New Hope! Lucy's owners never came looking for her and we get the feeling she was not treated kindly. She is a sweet, gentle, 1 1/2 year old chocolate lab mix. She is cat and dog friendly and knows "sit", "lay down", "up up", "kennel" and is house trained. She loves snuggling in bed right along side the cats in her foster home and does well with her moody, canine foster brother. She loves car rides and behaves herself while you are driving. She can be shy with new people but she just needs a moment to sniff you and then she is all tail wags! She has lots of lab energy so would do great with an active owner who will take her on walks or even jogs and hikes!
