Meet Luna Lai – The Road Trip-Ready Black Lab Adventure Buddy!

Luna Lai is a fun, sweet, and incredibly loyal 4.5 Year-old Black Lab mix who is always ready for her next adventure! If you open your car door, don’t be surprised if she hops right in—she has road trip co-pilot energy and would love a family that enjoys spending time with their dogs, whether at home, on hikes, or exploring new places together.

She has the perfect balance of playfulness and chill. She loves playing with other dogs and has done great with her foster siblings, who range from 20 to 75 pounds. She enjoys a good play session but is always respectful of her dog friends. Another playful dog in the home would be a bonus, but she would also be happy as the center of attention, as long as she gets plenty of love, toys, and engagement.

Luna Lai is both smart and affectionate. She already knows "sit" and "leave it," and she thrives on human interaction. She is crate trained and doing well with her potty training, especially when given structure—she hasn’t had any accidents overnight while sleeping in her pen. She’s still learning how to walk on a leash, but she is improving every day. At times, she prefers going outside with either a human or one of her dog friends for reassurance, which makes sense—after being abandoned, she’s learning that she is safe and part of a family.

This beautiful girl has one request—no cats, please. While she does fine with her foster’s indoor cat, she seems far too interested in outdoor cats, so a feline-free home would be best.
