Description:

Poppy is the definition of tiny but mighty — with a splash of flair for the dramatic.

Born on 10/30/25, Poppy is the biggest girl in Honey’s litter (currently around 3–4 pounds) and she knows it. She loves her food, lives for attention, and has fully embraced her role as the most expressive voice in the room. If something is new — baths, nail trims, sanitary shaves — Poppy will absolutely let you know how she feels about it. Loudly. With passion. And maybe a little flair. 😌

That said, she is getting braver every day. With reassurance and patience, she’s learning that new things aren’t so scary… even if she still prefers to announce her feelings first.

Poppy has a soft, curly coat like her mama and appears to be a small terrier / poodle–type mix — often lovingly called “terrier-poo” or “doodle-ish.” Whatever the mix, the result is very cute with a big personality to match.

For her safety, due to her small size, Poppy is best suited for a home with children 8 years and older, and we will not adopt her to a home with dog doors.

She’s being raised in foster care and receiving age-appropriate vetting. As with any puppy, Poppy will need continued socialization, patience, and training as she grows into a confident adult dog.

If you’re looking for a small companion with a big personality — one who loves attention, keeps life entertaining, and isn’t afraid to speak her mind — Poppy might just be your perfect match
