My name is Sweet Pea. My owner died and her family could not keep me so I’m glad New Hope saved me to keep me out of the shelter. A shelter is no place for a sweet, golden girl like me.
I’m very affectionate once I’m comfortable with you. I’m content to rest during the day while you're working and like to chill in my crate on my own.
While I’m not super food motivated, I get super excited when I know you are plating my food!
I’m house broken but might pee a little if you pick me up (I don’t love to be picked up).
I can be fearful of loud noises and sudden movements, so a calm home without small kiddos is best for me. While I’m sweet, that just wouldn’t be the best situation for me. I am fostered with other dogs but I do not know if I like cats.
I just love to be near my people and am described as “love bug”.
