A good samaritan witnessed my buddy Charlie and I being dumped out of a vehicle alongside a road. We aren't sure what we did to upset our owners. I am a really sweet boy! I love following my teenage human foster brother around, and I felt an instant connection to him for some reason. He scratches the spot right above my tail and it makes me so happy! I like to lay next to him so he knows I’m there anytime he needs me, but I am quiet and happy just to be near him. I am calm and sweet, and while I love affection, I wait for you to offer it so I do not act “needy”. I am grateful for any love you show me. I enjoy walks and car rides, and I am very well behaved. My legs are short, but if you let me, I like to jump up on the couch or bed and chill with you. I have good manners and I’m being crate trained in my foster home. I’m showing my foster mom that I am house trained and will potty outside and that I also know how to use a doggy door. I am submissive to other dogs, even if they’re smaller than me but mostly I just want to play with them. I don’t bark or bite and I will be your best friend if you’ll let me.

I am Heartworm positive which is common in Texas. It’s very treatable and the rescue will make sure I get well!
