My name is Brandy. My mom died and her family couldn’t keep me and four of her dogs, so I’m grateful New Hope took us so we didn’t have to go to the shelter.

I'm all about humans which means I'm all about YOU! I’m an amazing lapdog and while I get along peacefully with other dogs and kitties, I’m probably not going to be a playmate for other pets in your house because I love to have the human attention on me!

I can be somewhat vocal (I whine) when I want attention or when you leave the house, so no apartments might be best. Foster dad crates me when he leaves the house and at night. I’m not a huge fan of the crate since I want to be close to you but I tolerate it. I would prefer to snuggle in bed with you.

I don’t seem to play with toys and I’m medium energy and highly food and treat motivated. My my leash training has gone well and stick close to foster dad in the yard. I do great on walks with a traditional leash (not retractible). I also met a 12 month old baby I just sniffed and laid next to on the floor.
