Description:
Meet Bandit – The Tiny Outlaw Who’ll Steal Your Heart!
Don’t let the name fool you—Bandit’s only crime is being outrageously lovable! This spunky Chihuahua mix is the perfect mix of morning zoomies, midday walks, and evening snuggles. He greets each day with tail-wagging excitement and can’t wait to explore the world by your side. Seriously—his little legs move fast, and he’s always ready to see what’s around the next corner!
Bandit is house trained, crate trained, and a total cuddle pro. After a short adjustment period, he now sleeps quietly in his crate at night and can be left uncrated during the day without any issues. He loves a routine and is happiest when he knows what to expect—structure makes him shine!
He’s currently fostered with dogs of all sizes and holds his own like a champ (even when play gets rowdy, he’ll run to “mom” if backup is needed). Bandit has also coexisted peacefully with a cat in his foster home, showing interest but no aggression. He may be small, but he’s got a big personality and a brave heart.
Like many Chihuahuas, Bandit has a mighty bark, especially when he’s alerting you to the mailman, a leaf blowing, or someone walking by five houses down. But it’s all part of his charm—and his bark is definitely bigger than his bite.
Speaking of bite—Bandit gives “love nibbles” when he’s over-the-moon happy. During belly rubs or when you’re doting on him, he might gently mouth your hand out of affection. It’s never aggressive and improves with gentle guidance. The only time he’s shown fear-based behavior was at the vet (who started the appointment with a very unkind temperature check 🫣)—so a little patience and a muzzle for vet visits are recommended, just to be safe.
Bandit hasn’t lived with kids during his time in foster care, but his loving nature suggests he could do well with respectful children after a proper meet-and-greet. He’s a sweet, quirky, and loyal little guy who just wants a home full of love, structure, and soft blankets.
Ready to have your heart stolen by a blanket-loving, walk-obsessed, sun-worshipping little shadow? Bandit’s your guy.
