Description:
With his scruffy little bedhead, zoomy energy, and heart of gold, Briggs is basically a real-life cartoon dog. He’s maybe a year old, but he’s definitely still got puppy vibes—goofy, snuggly, and curious about everything.
Briggs is a social butterfly in a scrappy body—he loves people, adores kids (he’s amazing with his foster’s 3-year-old niece!), and will happily bark at other dogs just to say hi. He’s currently living with other dogs and would do best with a dog buddy in his forever home. He’s even shown interest in cats, with no signs of prey drive—just curiosity and friendliness.
He runs like a Scottish Terrier, walks great on a leash and harness, and is an outdoorsy little guy—you can sit with him in the yard for an hour, and he’ll still ask to go back out for more sniffing and sunshine.
Briggs loves car rides, is working on potty training, and yes—he sleeps in bed with his foster, snuggled right up. He’s a Stage 10 Clinger who loves to nap curled up on his person and prefers to be wherever you are, always.
This little guy brings big joy in a scrappy, velcro-dog package. He’s looking for a family that understands his puppy-like energy, loves a good cuddle, and maybe even has a playful dog sibling to share the fun.
Briggs is ready to be your shadow, your snuggle buddy, and your best friend. Come meet him!
