I was a stray turned int o a rural shelter and no one came looking for me. While I was timid at first, I have quickly adjusted to the comforts of our foster home and am a sweet pup. I love other dogs of all sizes and am doing great with young children. I love snuggles, and am very loving, playful and active. I will do best with an active owner who will take me on long walks, jogs or hikes. Or an owner with a big yard for me to run and play. The vet thinks I won’t weight much more than 30 pounds full grown, so I’m a perfect medium sized dog. I’m crate trained and house trained. I already know some basic commands!
ABOUT THE BREED:
Catahoulas are working dog class. They need plenty of exercise and outdoor time. They can be great family dogs, and will be protective of children. They are great watchdogs.
