Meet Guppy, a spirited ball of sunshine packed into a neat 32-pound package!

This little lady defines sweetness and playful enthusiasm. Guppy's zest for life is infectious, and she's always ready to roll with the good times with her dog or human friends.

While she’s energetic and spirited,she doesn’t like to see you napping alone and will jump into bed for a serious cuddle session.  Since she doesn’t get sleepy herself, don’t be surprised to open your eyes to find her wide awake just staring at you with adoration.

Plus, she's the best playmate for dogs of all sizes, including a little chi puppy she’s fostered with. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night too!

She'd thrive in a home with a yard to zoom around in and some canine pals for epic playdates. While she's curious about cats, she's a well-behaved explorer.

Guppy's journey to find her forever home has had its ups and downs, but it's all part of what makes her so special. When she was at the Laredo shelter, she was  fostered with kids and did great with them.  Unfortunately when the foster’s new baby was allergic to Guppy, her foster mom returned her to the shelter  with tears streaming from her eyes because she had hoped to adopt her.

Every day with Guppy is a reason to celebrate. She's a happy-go-lucky pup who treasures her toys and values her place in her doggy pack. She's also incredibly smart and trainable, always quick to make amends if she feels she's missed the mark. Guppy is a true people-pleaser with a heart of gold.
