Description:

My name is Jerry and my owner passed away just before the holidays. Sadly, his family could not keep me so I was shelter bound until New Hope Intervened.  I’m a cute little stinker who loves attention from everyone and will nuzzle my way into your arms for more love and pets. I have been fostered with dogs of all sizes as well as a young child and did great.  Foster mom describes my energy level as “medium”. I love play time with both humans and dogs and when asked what motivates me most, it’s affection.

Overall, foster mom thinks I’m house trained and do just fine in a crate.  I have also been left unsupervised in a house uncrated.

I’m a very social, friendly, happy little guy so a family with other dogs to play with would be ideal.

Note:  Jerry just had surgery on his hip to repair an old injury.  He is available as "foster to adopt" to homes who are willing to keep him rested and take him to his physical therapy appointments that are already paid for by the NHAR.
