Luann-Adopted

Meet Luann, the adorable 8-year-old Shih Tzu who will melt your heart with her easygoing nature. Luann's tolerant and loving nature shines through as she allowed herself to be cradled for hours by a young girl at an adoption event recently. She's a sweetheart who craves safety, care, and a loving home to call her own.

Luann co-exist very peacefully with dogs and cats. She is a very calm, easy going girl who is comfortable spending time in a crate when left alone. However, she will protest crate time in the evenings, insisting on snuggling up with her humans in bed. And who can blame this sweet girl from craving some TLC and a sense of safety.

When Luann arrived at our rescue, she was in deplorable shape, with mats, missing fur, ear and skin infection, rotting teeth, and toenails so overgrown they were imbedded in her paws. Thanks to the dedication of her foster mom and our veterinarian, she has been cleaned up and received much-needed dental care. She is now ready to meet potential adopters and start a new chapter in her life.
