This is Kokomo! You might remember that just a few months ago, she was dropped off at a shelter by her owners in a deplorable state—skinny, furless, and with a laundry list of medical issues. It was a gut-wrenching scene, as they had adopted her as a healthy dog 5 years prior from that same shelter. Now not even recognizable to staff, her adopters made one more request - that she be euthanized.
Shelter staff, so distraught over this request and feeling powerless because they had zero available kennels, placed a "Hail Mary" phone call to New Hope Animal Rescue! And that's where YOU and her foster saved and transformed Kokomo's life.
