The landlord kicked me out of my home through not fault of my own, but thankfully New Hope intervened so I didn’t have to go to the shelter. I’m a loving, playful and house-trained pup who enjoys belly rubs and snuggles. I love lots of human attention! I do love to have great toys to chew on and while I walk well on a leash, I will get excited if I see a squirrel. I have lived with other dogs but haven’t met a cat yet - I can meet one and see how it goes if you have one! On walks when other dogs bark at me, I quietly sit and stare at them and don’t bark back. Foster mom says I’m not much of a barker. I would do great with an active owners who enjoys long walks, jogs or hikes to help channel my playful, lab energy. I do give hugs and playfully jump, so I should probably not be around small kiddos I could accidentally knock down. But you can also train me not to do that!
