Description:
Our merle bulldog with a whole lot of personality โจ
Daisy is a sweet, playful French Bulldog with a big personality. ย She especially since she has the energy and playfulness of a younger dog. Her energy levels are pretty average and unremarkable...she's bursting with energy when she's let her out of her crate in the mornings and has random spurts of playfulness throughout the day, but she snoozes long and hard along with the rest of the dogs.
According to her foster, Daisy is very playful and affectionate. She enjoys wrestling, playing, and then settling in for cuddly naps. Sheโs social, active, and loves engaging with the people and dogs sheโs comfortable with.
Daisy has one blue eye and one brown eye, which makes her especially eye-catching. She communicates often through classic Frenchie snorts and snuffles and shows her excitement with butt wiggles and tippy taps.
Like many bulldogs, Daisy has mild allergy symptoms that are currently being evaluated by our veterinary team. Her ears are no longer bothering her, and weโll share more updates as her vet workup continues.
Daisy has clearly chosen a favorite โ her foster brother Roo who is another Frenchie. She hasnโt shown interest in the female dogs in her foster home, unless they get too close to her Roo, in which case sheโll issue a quick โhey, back offโ snarl or snap. Roo, meanwhile, just tolerates her antics.
Daisy is much more sweet than she is studious which is very on-brand for a bulldog. She has a stubborn streak and may sometimes plant her feet mid-walk if she disagrees with your chosen route, making a home with a secure yard a great fit for her. She doesnโt appear to know formal commands yet and will benefit from consistent guidance and routine.
She isnโt a big fan of the crate and may be vocal at first, though she does settle. Daisy is mostly house trained but doesnโt reliably signal when she needs to go outside, so occasional accidents have happened. She appears comfortable using pee pads.
