Patootie is the goofiest, cuddliest little thing! She showers in all the love and attention she can get from her humans (she LOVES sweet talk and will whine and stick out her butt if you talk to her in a high-pitched voice — it’s hysterical!). Her absolute favorite thing is cuddles on the couch; second favorite is walks with her big foster brother (she loves to feel part of “the pack”) and going on new adventures. Her most recent adventure was learning how to swim — she’s a natural! She is currently fostered with dogs and cats and loves all her furry companions.
Patootie came to us completely neglected. She was forced to live outside by her prior owner and starved of human attention. Though she’s made huge progress in a short time she’s still very afraid of meeting new people, and her new family will have to earn her trust. When we first brought her home she was terrified and hid under anything she could find, but after some down time in her crate and a little sweet talk she came right out to snuggle. She’s a quick learner and loves to feel loved, so she will warm up to her new family in no time! She will do best with a family that encourages her to get out of her comfort zone and try new things to help grow her confidence.
