Phoebe is a friendly, spunky little companion who packs a lot of personality into her 10-pound frame.
This sweet girl loves attention and affection and is happiest when she's spending time with her people. She is a typical lap dog, bordering on velcro, and would love a family that enjoys having a canine companion close by.
While Phoebe is generally low energy, she still enjoys playing with toys, a game of fetch, and a daily walk. She walks nicely on a leash and absolutely loves meeting new people.
Phoebe is mostly house trained but will use a puppy pad overnight. As with many small dogs that use puppy pads, care should be taken with bath mats and small rugs, as they can sometimes be mistaken for potty pads.
Phoebe likes other dogs but can occasionally get herself into trouble when she becomes overly excited. She would do well as an only dog but may also enjoy the company of another similarly sized small dog.
Phoebe is highly food motivated, which makes her eager to learn and easy to train. She was a bit spoiled in her former life and would happily sample food from your plate if given the opportunity. She is currently learning to wait patiently for her own meal after her humans have finished eating.
