Sadie – Adopted

Meet Sadie, the embodiment of middle-age charm and endless affection! This adorable Shih Tzu may be in reaching her golden years, but her heart is filled with an abundance of love waiting to be shared. Shih Tzus are known for their long lives and can live up to 20 years.

Despite the passage of time, Sadie's spirit remains youthful and playful. She finds joy in frolicking with her furry companions, proving that age is just a number. Her favorite moments are those spent nestled close to her beloved humans, indulging in the warmth of cuddles and snuggles. ❤️

Sadie's intelligence shines through as she responds to commands like "sit" and comes when she's called, showcasing her eagerness to please. She's also quite the clever lady, using pee pads for her potty needs, even though occasional accidents may occur.  We need to remember that small dogs have small bladders, so they may need to be attended to more frequently. However, Sadie is smart enough and can easily be taught to communicate when she needs to go out.

This sweet soul's journey to us was due to her owner's health decline, a situation that rendered her previous caregiver unable to provide the care she deserved. With open arms, Sadie found her way to New Hope Animal Rescue, where her second chance at a loving forever home awaits.
