Meet your next couch guarding potato, Bane! Bane was found roaming the streets and taken to a shelter. When no one reclaimed him, he landed himself on the euthanasia list. Unfortunately Bane's intimidating appearance and fearful body language meant the shelter would not give him a chance on the adoption floor. He sat at the shelter for over a month without any exposure, so he was scheduled to be killed. Luckily one of the shelter employees spoke up on his behalf and we were contacted to rescue him.
Although he may look like an intimidating, working dog, he is just a sweet boy. Bane does best near his people. He sleeps under our bed every night without any issues and he is fully potty trained. His favorite pastime is lounging around or napping. Although he does enjoy the occasional zoomiez and LOVES to play with his toys. He listens well to the commands that he knows: sit, paw/shake, lay down (we will be working on more ). Bane does have some separation anxiety and we are in the process of kennel training working on ways to calm him. His leash training is in progress. He is scared of any unfamiliar noise and since young kids can be rambunctious, we believe a calmer home without young children would be a better environment for him.
