Description:

Get ready to fall head over heels for Man Man, a remarkable pup born without a back foot. This unique trait, which almost led to his euthanasia at a shelter for being deemed less adoptable for it -  is what makes him extra adorable! Man Man doesn't let his special leg slow him down; he's on a mission to prove he can keep up with the rowdiest of the big dogs!

Man Man's journey brought him to a high euthanasia shelter, where he was seized by animal control in a neglected case along with other dogs. Prior to joining our rescue, he had never experienced the basic necessities like being able to go outside, which may explain his initial timid nature and initial quirky fascination with a bowl of fresh water. But now, Man Man trusts that these are everyday essentials he can rely on!

Man Man possesses an endearing innocence that makes it impossible to be upset with him, even when he's up to some mischief.  Man Man is highly crate-trained. With a strong affinity for treats and food and a nature that is eager to please, Man Man is a blank slate ready to learn from you! He enjoys the company of dogs of all sizes and shares a special bromance with Mac on our website. However, a calmer female companion or a mellow male friend might be the perfect balance for Man Man.

And if he had it his way, he would sleep next to you in bed with his head on your chest all night long. But he is also very obedient about going in his crate if that is where it is directed.  He has also slept uncrated all night with no destructive behavior, and as much as he loves running off with one of foster mom’s shoes, he has yet to actually chew one up! When it comes to actual chewing, Man Man loves his raw-hide-free chewies and toys!

But one thing is certain: he's an incredibly sweet boy and the ideal size for someone seeking a furry companion to share life's adventures. Man Man’s ideal adopter will be someone who understands the importance of patience and training to help him flourish and gain confidence. He's made significant progress in a short time, and with your loving guidance, Man Man is sure to thrive even more.
